This seminar is
organized by the KIT-Alumniclub Brazil of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology
(KIT), Germany, in cooperation with the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and
the Institute of Technology for Development (LACTEC).
The seminar is supported by AEBA, the association of scholars from
Germany and financed by the DAAD, the German Academic Exchange Service. Please

If
you are a former scholar from Germany (studied there or did research for more
than 3 months in Germany) we are able to support your travel expenses up to an
amount of 365 Euros (only for travelling within Brazil, no international
flights). Furthermore, we will be able to cover the hotel costs for your stay
from 25-29.11.12 (four nights). And we will provide free inscription for
the seminar, including lunches, coffee-breaks, seminar material,
the welcome cocktail and the seminar banquet, as well as the excursion
during the seminar. No travel or hotel can be provided for persons living
or working in Curitiba.
If
you are not a former scholar, but participating the research project on Green
House Gas emissions from hydropower reservoirs (GEE-APINE,www.lactec.org.br/gee-apine/)
we are welcoming your participation and provide you with a free inscription,
however, we will not be able to cover travel expenses or hotel costs.
... also indicating if you are interested in presenting a short technical
contribution (English, 10min.) or a poster (English). In this case, please send
us an abstract (1 page) describing your contribution. The organizing committee
will decide upon which presentations will be accepted.
Once
your registration is confirmed (decided by the organizing committee) we will
reserve the hotel room for you (If applicable! Extensions at own costs are
possible), and send you the address of the travel agency to book your flight
(If applicable!). Expenses will only be reimbursed, if booked via this agency.
